COVID-19

*Update 3.16.20:

Dear Church Family,

Due to the guidelines announced by the President of the United States yesterday regarding gatherings of 10 or more we will be canceling all services and meetings until further notice.

We are working on making services available online via our Facebook and YouTube pages.  More information will follow regarding our services.

Dear Church Family,

On Wednesday, the California Department of Public Health issued a document to all Californians urging us to implement “Social Distancing” initiatives in order to slow the transmission rate of COVID-19 (a “coronavirus”). The document called for the cancellation of large gatherings that include 250 people or more. Our Sunday service has fewer than this number. This being the case, and after much prayer and counsel, we have decided that our Sunday service will currently remain scheduled as usual.

We will continue livestream broadcasting of our Sunday services, for those of you who would prefer to stay at home at this time. Livestream is available on Facebook. Tithes and offerings can also be made through the Facebook livestream or on our website, AEBCGlendale.org. Midweek Bible study groups have been suspended until further notice.

We ask that you please avoid physical contact with one another as much as possible at this time. Handshakes, hugs, and any other physical contact must be put on hold for a while.  We also ask that you wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and make use of the hand sanitizers located just outside the sanctuary and in the social hall.

We ask that you please remain at home and join us via livestream if you or any of your immediate family feel sick in any way.

It is important to know, while we believe the Lord has asked us as a church to continue our services at this time, there is no guarantee that the people at our services will not be exposed to COVID-19. Everyone should pray on what God would have them do at this time and feel no pressure in their personal decision.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Blessings,

Rev. Dikran Shanlian, Pastor
